Finding the next pastor is one of the most meaningful seasons in the life of a church. It is both a responsibility and a privilege. This is an opportunity to seek God’s direction together and to trust His faithfulness in leading us forward. As a transition team, we are committed to approaching this process with prayer, unity, and discernment, believing that God is already at work preparing the right leader for this next chapter.
This page exists to keep you informed, encouraged, and engaged along the way. While much of the work happens behind the scenes, we want you to know that every step is being taken thoughtfully and prayerfully. We invite you to join us in seeking God’s wisdom, asking Him to guide our conversations, shape our perspective, and align our hearts with His will for our church.

July 19, 2026
The Transition Team held a special called meeting to finalize the congregational assessment that will help guide the pastoral search process. The assessment will be available beginning Sunday, July 26, and will remain open through Sunday, August 9. Church attendees will be able to access the assessment through the church website, church email, and the church portal, with reminders provided during worship services.
July 12, 2026
The Transition Team continues to meet regularly as we prayerfully move through the pastoral transition process. During this meeting we discussed the identity of Living Hope Baptist Church and reviewed information that will help develop our church and pastoral profile. We also finalized plans for a church-wide assessment that will give attendees an opportunity to share their input.
June 28, 2026
The Transition team is currently in the Identity & Scope phase, seeking to better define who we are as a church while preparing for the next steps. The team will begin monthly updates to the church body on Sunday mornings as we move forward in this process.

The committee conducted elections for leadership positions. The following members were elected:
