Pastor Derek and his family came to Living Hope in December of 2009. He is happily married to Mrs. Chrystal and they have four children, a daughter Reaghan, and three boys, Dawson, Harrison, and Anderson. Pastor Derek is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Derek has a deep passion for God’s Word and for seeing people saved. In his spare time, Pastor Derek enjoys playing outside and spending with his kids, going on dates with his wife, fishing, and going to the beach with his family.
Pastor Rich and his family joined Living Hope in December of 2013. He and wife Cheryl were high school sweethearts growing up in their small home town of Island, Kentucky. They have three children, sons Truman and Andrew, and daughter Catherine. Rich is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Following seminary, Rich and Cheryl served as missionaries for the North American Mission Board, planting a church in the Pacific Northwest from 2002 to 2010. Rich also served 25 years in the Army as an officer in logistics and operations research, retiring from active duty in 2014. In his spare time, Pastor Rich enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and rooting for the Seattle Seahawks.
Greg worked for 16 plus years in the business world and has spent over 14 years in the ministry. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from APSU and a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Theological Seminary. Greg and Denise have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Originally from Alabama, he loves Jesus, his family and Alabama Football…Roll Tide!
Missions & Mobilization Minister
Irvin Wasswa is originally from Cedar Hill, TX which is the South Dallas area. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and is currently finishing up his Masters of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Irvin has a passionate heart for people and to see the Lord work in and through their life, as well as a passion for preaching and teaching God’s word. In Irvin’s spare time he likes to play basketball, watch his Dallas Cowboys and OU Sooners play, and relax.
Cody works to see students grow both in their relationship with God, and their ability to articulate the Gospel on an everyday basis. Seeing student’s lives transformed by the power of Christ has been Cody’s passion since 2013. Cody is currently working to obtain his undergraduate degree in business administration from Austin Peay, with the intention to pursue a seminary degree upon graduation.
Children’s Ministry Director
Adam grew up in East Tennessee and came to Clarksville in 2001 to attend APSU, where he met his wife, Kayce. He graduated in 2005 with his Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
