Devotional:

The world didn't recognize Jesus. Religious people rejected Him. But to all who received Him who grabbed hold of Him in relational commitment He gave the right to become children of God. Receiving Jesus isn't mental agreement; it's a marriage covenant. It's saying "I do" to Jesus in plenty and in want, in joy and in sorrow. This is a once and for all commitment with lifelong implications. You don't just acknowledge Jesus exists; you take Him as Lord of your life. Have you truly received Him? Not just attended church or learned about Him, but actually committed your life to following Him? Today is your day to say yes or to recommit with fresh devotion.
