The Word Became Flesh
READ: John 1:1-5, 14
Devotional:
In the beginning was the Word not just a principle or philosophy, but a person. Jesus is the Logos, the ultimate answer to humanity's search for meaning and purpose. The Greeks searched for truth through philosophy; the Hebrews through the law. But God revealed that truth isn't found in systems it's found in a Savior. When the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, heaven touched earth in the most intimate way possible. Jesus didn't just visit; He moved into the neighborhood. He experienced hunger, thirst, joy, and sorrow. Today, reflect on this: the God who holds the universe together chose to experience your humanity so you could experience His divinity.
Reflection:
How does knowing that Jesus experienced human emotions and struggles change the way you approach Him in prayer?
