Devotional:

Every believer has been given spiritual gifts speaking gifts (teaching, prophecy, wisdom, knowledge), serving gifts (helps, mercy, giving, leadership, faith), or sign gifts (miracles, healing, discernment, tongues). The purpose of these gifts is to edify the body of Christ and advance God's kingdom. Are you just filled with information, or are you useful to the kingdom? Don't let false humility or shame keep you from serving. You're needed and wanted. If your gift is giving, give generously. If serving, serve diligently. If teaching, teach faithfully. If showing mercy, do it cheerfully. Don't wait for the recruiting ask step forward and fulfill your purpose.
