Living Out Your Purpose
Matthew 28:16-20
16 The eleven disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped, but some doubted. 18 Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

We conclude our week with Jesus' Great Commission - our ultimate mission as believers. This week's sermon touched on this, reminding us that our purpose is to "go and make disciples." This command isn't just for pastors or missionaries - it's for every follower of Christ. How are you living out this calling in your daily life? Maybe, like John Michael in the sermon, you have opportunities to share your faith with coworkers. Or perhaps you can use your talents or hobbies as a platform to demonstrate Christ's love.
Today, pray for God to show you specific ways you can fulfill the Great Commission in your unique context. Remember, you don't need a theology degree to share the hope you have in Christ. Your personal testimony - how Jesus has changed your life - is a powerful tool. As you go about your day, be intentional about looking for opportunities to connect others to their purpose in Christ. Whether it's through a kind word, an invitation to church, or simply living out your faith authentically, you can be a part of God's mission to reach the world with His love.
