Hope in God's Timing
2 Peter 3:8-9
8 Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9 The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.

In a world full of pain and suffering, we might wonder why God doesn't intervene immediately. But His patience is for our benefit, giving everyone an opportunity to turn to Him. How does this perspective change your view of current world events or personal struggles? Reflect on areas in your life where you're waiting on God. How can you cultivate hope and trust in His perfect timing? Consider someone in your life who needs to experience God's love and patience, and pray for an opportunity to share the hope you have in Christ with them.
