God's Faithfulness in Our Brokenness
Psalm 34:17-22
17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he saves those crushed in spirit. 19 One who is righteous has many adversities, but the Lord rescues him from them all. 20 He protects all his bones; not one of them is broken. 21 Evil brings death to the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished. 22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants,
and all who take refuge in him will not be punished.

Despite his difficult beginnings, Jephthah experienced God's faithfulness and was used mightily by Him. Today's psalm reminds us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Reflect on times in your life when you've experienced God's presence in the midst of pain or difficulty. How has He shown His faithfulness to you? Take time to thank God for His constant love and care, even in our darkest moments. Ask Him to help you trust His goodness, no matter what challenges you face.
