Finding Peace in God's Presence
John 14:25-27
25 “I have spoken these things to you while I remain with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you. 27 “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful.

After his encounter with God, Gideon built an altar and called it "The Lord is Peace." Jesus promises us a peace that the world cannot give. This peace comes from recognizing God's presence with us, even in our struggles. Today, create a space of stillness to simply be in God's presence. As you quiet your heart, repeat the phrase "Jehovah Shalom - The Lord is my peace." How does focusing on God's presence bring peace to your current situation? Ask God to help you carry this peace with you throughout your day.
