Sacrificial Obedience and God's Blessings
Luke 21:1-4
He looked up and saw the rich dropping their offerings into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow dropping in two tiny coins., “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For all these people have put in gifts out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in all she had to live on.”

Gideon offered what may have been his last resources as a sacrifice to God. Similarly, the widow in today's reading gave all she had. Both stories illustrate that the blessing of obedience outweighs the burden of sacrifice. What is God asking you to sacrifice or step out in faith to do? It might be your time, resources, or stepping out of your comfort zone to serve. Trust that God's blessings will far outweigh any perceived loss. How can you take a step of sacrificial obedience today?
